FEMA Rebate Program

Residents in select North Texas counties may be eligible for financial assistance through the North Central Texas Safe Room Rebate Program (NCTRRP). This program offers up to 50% reimbursement (maximum $3,000) for the installation of NSSA or ATSA -approved safe rooms.

  Eligibility

• Homeowners or builders (limit of 3 safe rooms per builder)

• Property must be in one of the participating counties

• Property cannot be located in a FEMA or locally designated floodplain

Safe Room Types

• In-ground units

• Above-ground units

• Interior safe rooms

• Outdoor safe rooms

Application Process

• Applicants must sign up for the NCTCOG Safe Room Waitlist at nctsaferoom.com

• Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis

• Installations must comply with FEMA guidelines
